“Bergstrasse” is your notarial partner for corporate transactions of all sizes. We can also handle complex deals through one or more notaries and their M&A teams and provide flexible appointments (and postpone them if necessary, in case negotiations are delayed).

Transactional-Expertise

We see ourselves as competent, independent and impartial advisors to lawyers, tax counsels and M&A advisors, with whom we jointly consider and decide how the deal can be best notarized. The earlier we are involved in the process, the better. Of course, we review drafts of transaction PoAs, prepare reference and framework documents, advise on the scope of the notarization requirement and draft any necessary registry documentation. We have access to a large number of European commercial registers in order to be able to assist you with any necessary proof of representation.

Strong Backoffice

Also in the case of sale/purchase and transfer agreements, the notarization process does not end for us with the signatures. Our back office not only enables us to meet deadlines at short notice, but also to handle matters swiftly and to coordinate them easily after signing. We maintain close relations with commercial registers and have a good connection to our banks in order to optimally promote the progress of your matter.

More than just notarization …

It is not exceptional for the Closings to take place on our premises, because we can also handle extensive documents digitally and as hard copies without any problems, in accordance with your requirements.
